Description of Program
My program combines the study of cultural, social, and structural factors influencing health with practical approaches to improving healthcare access and outcomes. It explores how historical, political, and economic systems shape health disparities and emphasizes developing evidence-based, community-driven solutions for public health challenges. My degree emphasizes structural violence and its impact on the body as a site of social, political, and economic oppression, examining how systemic inequalities manifest in health outcomes and access to care.
