It explores how historical, political, and economic systems shape health disparities and emphasizes developing evidence-based, community-driven solutions for public health challenges. My degree emphasizes structural violence and its impact on the body as a site of social, political, and economic oppression, examining how systemic inequalities manifest in health outcomes and access to care.
