Description of Program
To me, human-centered health means recognizing that a patient is never just a diagnosis. Their biology is only one part of their experience. Their psychology, culture, socioeconomic background, beliefs, communication style, and relationship with the healthcare system can all affect how they experience healthcare and treatment. My program aims to connect all of these aspects into understanding and “studying” people more holistically and compassionately.
