Description of Program
Next Generation Space Technologies has been designed to be a flexible program to myself as I progress through college. This program takes courses from engineering, physics, astronomy, and planetary science to combines them together. As curiosity grows regarding space, there will be a higher demand for more rovers like the Mars Perseverance Rover. The point of my program of study is to be able to design instruments that will be equipped on these robots, as well as analyze the data when the samples are returned.

I work with Paul Lewis in the physics department. I am his assistant; you can usually find me helping with outreach events or on the roof doing astrophotography. I am a volunteer for the Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium where I help with education in the planetarium and am the head editor of the Astronomy Club Newsletter. Outside of academics, I also like swimming and playing classical violin.
