Title of Program: Urban Planning with and emphasis in Environmental Restoration

E-mail Address:

Hometown: Dandridge, TN

Year: Sophomore

Anticipated Graduation Date: May 2022

Description of Program: My program combines the technical skills of planning with an understanding of human behavior in order to motivate change. Many lifestyle and structural changes need to be made to mitigate the effects of the current climate crisis. Change is difficult and for many people it is inconvenient or inaccessible. By understanding community sociology and how policy constricts or drives change, I will be able to promote more effective solutions in community planning.
